Babies sleep differently – a lecture for parents-to-be or parents with babies aged 0-12 months
“Is your child sleeping through the night?” Or “How should I raise my child to sleep?”
These frequently asked questions will be examined in this lecture on the basis of neurological research results.
It makes it clear that children sleep “differently” than adults and why there are great individual differences when and how they can “sleep through the night”.
Nevertheless, parents also need enough sleep in order to cope with everyday life with their child, household and work. Therefore, we will address possible causes of restless baby sleep and discuss possible solutions that promote sleep and at the same time strengthen closeness and well-being for the whole family.
The lectures are aimed in particular at parents of babies in the first year of life and parents-to-be – including grandparents and caregivers are very welcome!
